FAQs

I’d like to join DIA but I can’t see a suitable role. Can I apply speculatively?
We're occasionally in a position to hire based on a speculative application, but this is typically only the case for more senior roles in our Architecture and Heritage Consulting practices. Otherwise any opportunities we are recruiting to will be listed in our vacancy section below, so please check there first. If you still wish to get in touch please use email us at recruitment@dia.co.uk.

Do you offer hybrid working or do I need to be in the office every day?
This varies depending on your role and for our architecture and heritage consulting colleagues, as well as time in the office there is plenty of time spent on site with clients and partners. Where we can, within the requirements of your role, we aim to provide everyone with flexibility.

Do you offer internships or work placements?
For those pursuing a career in architecture we always have a cohort of Part 1s working at DIA after their undergraduate degree; we only very rarely consider internships or work placements. Please keep an eye on our available roles to see if we have anything available.

Will you sponsor me for a skilled worker visa?
Due to the increasingly strict requirements for sponsoring a skilled worker visa, for the vast majority of our roles, this is unfortunately not something we’re able to do. Where we are able to consider sponsorship, we'll make this clear in the job advertisement.
